You can park particularly close to the terminal in the TERMINAL tariff zone (orange) and particularly economically in the LONG TERM tariff zone (yellow) or in the LONG TERM SAVINGS zone with the Holiday Special 2010. Simply follow our special signs, which will lead you directly to the right car parks. Free parking spots in the TERMINAL, LONG TERM and LONG TERM SAVINGS tariff zones are specially marked in our parking guidance system and on all parking diagrams. If you plan to park for longer than 3 days, we recommend the LONG TERM zone or the LONG TERM SAVINGS zone with the Holiday Special 2010.
We kindly ask for your understanding that we can only make a limited allotment available for reservations.

Taking the car to Düsseldorf Airport makes your trip a smooth one right from the start - especially if you are in a hurry or taking a lot of luggage with you on holidays.
Business travellers really appreciate our over 10,339 TERMINAL parking spaces, all within 5 minutes of the airport building. Holidaymakers wishing to park at low cost can make use of the LONG-TERM or LONG-TERM SAVING zones with over 9,941 parking spaces. These six multi-storey car parks or parking areas are no further than 15 minutes? walk from the terminal building or are connected by either a shuttle bus or SkyTrain. These easy transport methods make sure you arrive at the terminal within minutes - very comfortably.
If you already wish to reserve a parking space in a certain parking area before going to the airport - either because you wish to park especially close to the airport or to secure the cheapest parking space - you can simply reserve online: it only costs 6 euros and can be done up to midnight of the day before you wish to arrive!
By car
Düsseldorf Airport has its own motorway exit on the A44. Use the free map24 service to calculate the fastest or shortest route from your home to the airport. You can print out the written directions and map and use them to help you find the airport.
Tip: Is there a traffic jam on your route?
To work out how much time you will need to get to the airport, always check the latest traffic reports for the motorways leading to Düsseldorf Airport.
Download our "Düsseldorf International Airport Parking" flyer and print it out. It contains comprehensive information about parking zones, parking tariffs, car park locations etc. which you can browse at your leisure.
Arrivals
There isn't enough space for you to stop or park in the arrivals area. You can park in the short stay car park P12 right outside arrivals zone C, though. It is only a short walk to the arrivals level from here. The maximum recommended parking duration is 30 minutes.
Departures
Short stay parkers who are dropping off passengers can use P11, which is close to departure zone C. The maximum recommended parking duration is 30 minutes.
Short stay and day parkers in zone C
We recommend underground car park P8 for business travellers who are flying with airberlin and airport visitors who are picking up relatives, friends or business associates from the airport because it is only a short walk from there to the terminal. In fact, you park (almost) outside the terminal door, where you can access the departures and arrivals levels conveniently by lift.

We recommend the P1 car park, which is right underneath the terminal, or the P2 and P3 car parks to disabled passengers who will be travelling to the airport in their own cars. Severely disabled passengers with an official disabled person's ID card can park anywhere free of charge. In other words, all people who are entitled to use disabled parking spaces can park at the airport free of charge. (This only applies for the disabled person, not for persons who are picking them up or dropping them off.)
Please use the intercom at the exit and one of the car park operator's employees will come and open the exit for you after noting your disabled person's ID card number and your car registration number.

The P4, P5 and P6 car parks have a SkyTrain service taking passengers to the terminal. It is only an approximately 2-minute journey to the terminal - and back to your car. Your parking ticket is your train ticket. SkyTrain stops at terminal zones A/B and C.
There is a video surveillance system in car park P2. A separate access road at arrivals level takes you into the security area, where access is only granted to authorised persons. If you park here, your car is insured. It costs EUR 32 per day. Please reserve your parking space by calling Apcoa Autoparking GmbH at Tel. +49 211-421-6637 or by fax to +49 211-421-6640.

There is a Shell petrol station on the airport grounds. It only accepts cashless payments with all standard credit cards or Maestro card and PIN. Follow the signs to Verwaltung.
